Questions

Can you complete the book in time for my anniversary / reunion / special occasion?

Tell Daniel the occasion and date you have in mind. The Heritage Book or The Heritage Collection can be ready in as fast as 2 months. Daniel will confirm a schedule for your project; a requested date is not a promised delivery date.

We don't know much about our family's history. Is that enough to begin?

Yes. Families are surprised about how little it takes to get started. You do not need a complete family tree or exact dates to ask about a book. Start with your name and an email address or phone number, and share whatever family details you know. Daniel will help you identify a starting point.

Can you build on research our family has already done?

Yes. If you want, bring your family tree, records, photographs and notes. We review the evidence, verify connections and research the agreed family scope, then write the story for your family to explore. Daniel confirms the scope with you before work begins.

Will I get to review the book before it is printed?

Yes. You’ll read the full book and have the opportunity to request corrections before printing. We print only after your approval.

Can the book be a surprise?

Yes. We work from the records and from family members who are in on it, contact no one you have not named, and the person being honored hears from us only when you choose.

Can siblings commission together or order more copies?

Yes. Relatives can share the cost, and Daniel can invoice each person separately. The Heritage Book includes 10 hardcover copies. The Heritage Collection includes 10 copies of each volume, 20 books in total. Additional copies are available, with the quantity, binding, taxes and shipping quoted before you order.

More questions
How is a book paid for?

Pay half upfront and the balance when your approved book is printed. You can also split the deposit into four equal monthly payments with a 10% surcharge on the upfront deposit, rounded down to equal monthly payments; the printing balance stays the same. We accept checks, Zelle, bank transfers and cards. Ask Daniel for an invoice, or use the card checkout.

What about sensitive discoveries?

Sensitive findings are delivered privately and with care, and your family decides what the book carries.

Do you use AI to help with the work?

Yes. Modern tools, including AI, assist the work. Daniel is responsible for the finished research and writing. Family connections are grounded in records, with unresolved questions clearly identified.

We’re not sure which book to pick.

The Heritage Book explores your maternal or paternal side in one book of around 300 pages. The Heritage Collection covers both sides in two companion books of around 300 pages each. If you are unsure, tell Daniel what you would like to preserve and he will help you choose.
