These terms cover your commission with Anne & Joachim Heritage Press LLC. Paying the deposit confirms your agreement. If you have questions, contact daniel@familybound.com or daniel@ajhpress.com before paying. Existing purchases keep their accepted terms, prices and delivery dates.
The book
We research original records and write a family history book in your chosen edition: The Heritage Book, of around 300 pages; or The Heritage Collection, two Heritage Books of around 300 pages each, one for each side of the family. Each edition includes source citations, a digital edition and hardcover copies: 10 copies for The Heritage Book, or 10 copies of each volume in The Heritage Collection, 20 books in total.

Your fee covers research and a book explaining the findings, with unresolved questions identified. Surviving records determine what we can establish; we cannot promise a particular ancestor or number of generations. Our findings are research conclusions, not legal determinations of heirship.

Paying
Public commission prices are $4,950 for The Heritage Book and $8,950 for The Heritage Collection. Invitation offers retain their own accepted scope, prices and terms.
Pay 50% of your total, including upgrades, upfront and the balance when your approved book is printed. Or split the deposit into four equal monthly payments with a 10% installment surcharge, rounded down to equal monthly payments; the printing balance stays unchanged. We accept checks, Zelle, bank transfers and cards, and can invoice relatives separately. Your checkout or invoice confirms prices and payments; extra production costs need your written approval.
Changing your mind
Cancel in writing at daniel@familybound.com or daniel@ajhpress.com within 30 calendar days of your initial payment. We refund all AJHP payments less only actual nonrefundable processing fees the provider retains. Later installments and early starts don’t reset or shorten this window. Cancellation stops future installments. Earlier full-refund promises, legally required full refunds and longer legal rights still apply.
The finished book
You may share and reprint your book for your family. We retain our templates and methods. We need your written permission to use your name or any part of your book in a public sample.
Additional copies cost $110 for hardcover or $210 for bonded leather for The Heritage Book or The Heritage Collection, per copy. You approve the quantity, binding, taxes and shipping quote before ordering.
Our liability is limited to the amount you have paid us for this project. Colorado law applies.
